Little Lolos Farms
Little Lolos Farms is a family-run urban farm in the heart of Seattle's Belltown area. The birth of our daughter, Noelani (who we have fondly named Little Lolos) prompted us to eat healthy with wholesome nutrition. The lead us to create a farm that utilizes the best urban farming practices, and name it Little Lolos. Little Lolos is not only the name of our daughter but is a symbol for authenticity and purity that all children possess. Hence, we grow our crops using only organic soil, seeds, water, and a whole lot of love! Growing microgreens seemed an obvious choice for us due to its tie in with Little Lolos, as microgreens are the young seedlings of mature crops.
Here is our Little Lolos basking in the pink hue of the grow lights of her urban farm. The logo is Noelani's birth image supplanted in a cabbage, which was a whole lot of fun for us to create.
We specialize in producing high quality, fresh, and nutritious microgreens. The microgreens are grown in our climate-controlled indoor vertical farm eliminating the use of pesticides and fertilizers. The varieties of microgreens we produce add tremendous nutritional value, offer unique flavors, and exciting textures to any dish.
Little Lolos Farms is located within Seattle's Belltown community, which is abuzz with residences and restaurants. We realized fully organic produce is scarce and expensive in urban centers. The central location helps us to deliver on the promise to deliver organic and fresh produce at affordable prices.
Our mission is to adapt from conventional agricultural methods to a system that is sustainable, local, and economically viable. By implementing indoor vertical farming and hydroponic techniques, we aim to reduce water consumption, maximize yields, and provide highly nutritious produce to the community 365 days a year.
